Dr. Burezq received his medical degree (Bachelor of Medicine and surgery) from Kuwait University, Faculty of Medicine 1994. He completed his post graduate training in plastic and reconstructive surgery in McGill University and got the Canadian board in plastic surgery in 2003. He then Joined University of Toronto and worked in The Hospital for Sick Children to get his fellowship in Pediatric Plastic surgery.
He is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Plastic surgery in the Kuwait institution of medical specialties, a Head of Unit in Al-Babtain center for burns and plastic surgery and the President of the Kuwait society of Plastic surgeons. He’s the chief and founder of the Kuwait Surgical hope team (multi-specialty surgical charity team since 2009).
